Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Because CaringIQ may process health-related information provided by Users, this policy provides additional information about Consumer Health Data where applicable law requires or recognizes such disclosures.
1. Categories of Consumer Health Data We May Collect
Depending on what you provide, we may collect Consumer Health Data such as:

Medical conditions, diagnoses, symptoms, or treatment information included in Customer Content;

Medication and prescription information;

Provider names, appointment information, and facility information;

Care needs, mobility needs, accessibility needs, dietary needs, and daily living notes;

Mental health, behavioral health, or cognitive information included in Customer Content;

Health-related documents, visit summaries, discharge papers, care instructions, and notes;

Communications about health-related matters;

Information inferred from Customer Content to provide requested features, such as reminders or task lists; and

Other health-related information you choose to provide.

Purposes for Collecting Consumer Health Data
We collect Consumer Health Data to:

Store, organize, and retrieve caregiving records;

Help coordinate family caregiving tasks;

Generate summaries, reminders, transcriptions, and AI Outputs;

Manage Care Circle access and collaboration;
-
Provide support and troubleshoot issues;

Secure and maintain the Services;
-
Comply with law;
-
Protect rights and safety; and
-
Use aggregated or de-identified information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Sources of Consumer Health Data
We may collect Consumer Health Data from:

You;

Account Owners;
-
Invited Users;
-
Care Circle participants;
-
Documents, emails, voicemails, audio files, and other materials uploaded or forwarded to CaringIQ;

Third-party services you authorize; and
-
Service providers that process information for CaringIQ.

Sharing Consumer Health Data
We may share Consumer Health Data:

With your Care Circle according to your settings and permissions;

With service providers and subprocessors that help us provide the Services;

At your direction;

To protect rights, safety, and security;

In connection with a business transfer; and

With your consent.
We do not sell Consumer Health Data.
We do not share Consumer Health Data for targeted advertising.
Specific affiliates with whom we share Consumer Health Data:
CaringIQ does not currently share Consumer Health Data with any corporate affiliates. If this changes, we will update this policy as required by law.
Categories of third parties with whom we share Consumer Health Data:
Service providers and subprocessors that support cloud hosting, data storage, AI processing, transcription, search, email delivery, notifications, customer support, analytics, security monitoring, error logging, payment processing, infrastructure, backup, and other operational services.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to:
